Healthy Connections - Diabetes Prevention Program at CDPHE starts February 8. Free for State of Colorado Employees.

Feb. 8: Healthy Connections information session, noon - 1 p.m., C1B
Healthy Connections is a year-long program that can reduce risk of type 2 diabetes as well as achieve sustainable weight loss by:
  • Teaching weight loss maintenance to change habits.
  • Providing guidance, education and group accountability as we work toward individual goals.
  • Teaching new ways to incorporate physical activity into a busy schedule.
  • Providing a supportive environment to encourage lifelong learning and long-term success.

Classes begin Feb. 8 and meet weekly for 16 weeks on Thursdays from 12-1pm at the main campus, then monthly for the remainder of the year.

Classes are led by a registered dietitian and the program is free for all benefit eligible department employees.
