Hands-Only CPR Training & Community Research Project - October 30

The Denver area has been chosen for a community research study to assess the effectiveness of three different training methods for increasing CPR knowledge and skills: an on-screen learning module with practice on a manikin, a traditional classroom education session and a 90-second public service announcement.
Department employees are encouraged to participate in this research study and will be given a $10 Amazon Gift Card for the initial training and a $10 Amazon Gift Card for a 3-month follow-up interview. At the three-month follow-up visit, all participants, regardless of initial method of training, will be offered access to the training session with the method that shows superior skill acquisition from the training research.
