June 1-7 is National CPR and AED Awareness Week : 90 seconds can save your life!

June 1-7 is National CPR and AED Awareness Week

Did you know that 70 percent of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen in homes? Statistically speaking, if you are called on to give CPR in an emergency, you will most likely be trying to save the life of someone you love: a co-worker, a spouse, a parent, a child, or a friend.

In just 90 seconds, you can learn the two simple steps to Hands-Only CPR. Click here to watch the Hands-Only CPR video

In an effort to increase CPR awareness and education, the American Heart Association is giving away 200 free CPR Anytime Kits. If interested, kits will be available at the AHA office (1777 S. Harrison St. Suite 500, Denver, CO 80210) from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday (June 4-7). The kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
