CDPHE Wellness off to a great start in 2013!

 TAP On Track

After slowly but successfully navigating the fiscal labyrinth, the Transportation Alternatives Committee is back in business with a supply of incentives and rewards. So far, we’ve distributed 213 transit coupon books to employees trying transit and 143 employees have logged their alternative transportation days and earned rewards.

  • For new transit riders, you must fill out a new form for each free transit coupon book.
  • For existing users of alternative transportation, you have until Jan. 15 to log your days for December. For those who did not earn enough points in November for rewards, those days will be added to your December totals.

Click on the Transportation Alternatives Pilot tab above to learn more about getting your FREE bus passes/ van pool voucher or admin leave and gift cards!

Diabetes Prevention Program reaches goal for recruitment!

The department received kudos from Kaiser for its enthusiastic response to The Diabetes Prevention Program, which starts on Jan. 16. Twenty-four people are enrolled, filling the class to capacity. Representatives from Kaiser told Chronic Disease Coordinator, Kelly McCracken that the department’s response to the offering was their most successful recruitment ever.
