Studies show biking to work is best for "commute well-being"

A recent study out of Portland State University found that people who use active transportation were more likely to be happy with their commute to work - independent of distance or travel time! People who drive to work alone reported the least satisfaction with their commutes, especially when their daily drive included traffic.

Interested, but don't know where to start? Check out our comprehensive Bike to Work Tip Sheet!

You can also use Google Maps to find the best and fastest route to work for biking, walking, or public transportation. Go to "Get Directions" and click on the driving alternative you prefer.

You can also still earn REWARDS or FREE BUS PASSES through the Transportation Alternatives Program at CDPHE. With so many great reasons to get on a bike, why not give it a try this week?
